Quick Answer
This calculator estimates the bean bag's fill volume, converts that volume to total filler weight, and then shows how many packages you need to buy.
How to Use It
- Enter the bean bag dimensions.
- Choose centimeters or inches.
- Enter the filler density and package size.
- Click Calculate.
Formula
Volume = length × width × height
Total filler weight = volume × density
Packages needed = total filler weight / package size
Worked Examples
Example 1: 70 cm × 60 cm × 50 cm at 20 kg/m³ needs about 4.20 kg of filler.
Example 2: The same bag needs about 5 one-kilogram packages once you round up.
Example 3: 40 in × 36 in × 30 in also converts cleanly after the unit switch.
How to Interpret the Result
| Output | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Volume | The space inside the bean bag that must be filled. |
| Weight | The total mass of filler required at the selected density. |
| Packages needed | The number of bags to buy, rounded up for convenience. |
